Kath, So nice to meet you! I just watched your video of HF SOMETHIN HOT…very impressive! What a nice horse that had a great Mama! It is obvious that he has done for Australia what Blazing Hot is doing in the U.S., improving the breed beyond any expectations! I had the pleasure of selling HF Somethin Hot to Mrs. Anthony as a weanling. Pauline invited me over to ride Sam as a 2 and 3yr. Old. I thought he was one of the most amazing horses I had ever ridden. He has passed those wonderful qualities on to his get and I wish you continued success with Sam. I also showed his full brother HF Show Me The Money to several Congress Res. Championships. Such a great family!
This is the story how Sam came to be in Australia. The Wolf family who raised Sam and owned Tahnee Zippo were customers of mine and I trained the daughter's horses. I was up in Michigan at a show with their horses and Terri wanted me to come and see Sam. He was such an outstanding baby and he just took your breath away when he loped. A few months later I was visiting with Ruth Ellen and I said to her in passing that I had seen this phenomenal stud colt and just in case she would come across someone looking to keep him in mind. Ruth said as a matter of fact I do know someone looking, Nancy Cahill for people in Australia! So that's the circle completed! HF Show Me The Money had been in training at several big name trainers in TX his 2 and 3 year old year. He was still a stud at the time. Todd Simmers showed him at the Congress as a 3yr old with no success. The Wolfs sent him to me after that and I rode him a bit and told them if they wanted me to ride him they would have to castrate him. They did and when all stallion hormones went away he ended up being a great show horse! I would love for you to post my comment on your web site! I loved Sam and Pauline did a magnificent job with him. When I rode him for the first time it just gave me goose bumps! Amazing horse. I currently am the stallion manager for Invitation Only and Lazy Loper. We also stand Winnie's Willy who is a Superior Pleasure horse and full brother to Invited Tiger who I also sold to Mrs Anthony as a weanling. I want you to know that when Pauline said Winderadeen was being closed I tried very hard to find a buyer for Sam to bring him back to the States! It was just too hard with our market to inspire a sale and it is our loss and your gain for Sam to stay in Australia. HF SOMETHIN HOT congratulates his progeny...

NPHA NSW state Show done and dusted we are thrilled to announce the major futurities were taken out mostly by HF SOMETHIN HOT progeny as well as through out the list of placings!!! What an amazing SIRE HF SOMETHIN HOT is. I shall update and list his progeny with in his stallion page.

The wonderful Mel Cruden was at NPHA to capture the excitement of the wins for us. We commissioned and paid for Mel to fly in from Queensland to be our photographer to capture the SHOTS we needed for our web site and our advertising this year. I will update the progeny pages with these photos as soon as I have time to sit at the pc and get this done, along with our newsletter.

2YO WP FUTURITY at the NPHA now named as JAYES PARK FUTURITY. 1ST 2ND 3RD 4TH 6TH were by HF SOMETHIN HOT who qualified 5 in the top ten. The class consisted of 21 horses, 7 were by HF SOMETHIN HOT and of the 7, 5 made the finals. We are so proud of each and every one of the Sam babies and congratulate the owners trainers and everyone concerned with the preparation and performance of these beautiful horses.

THE CHAMPION of this event was NATASHA BACKHOUSE riding W. CEEILIKEITHOT By HF SOMETHIN HOT from our own beautiful W. GAY CEE BARS. This amazing gelding won the Halter showcase debutante stakes for Erin Nolan and has matured into a big beautiful soft moving horse. Ridden to perfection by Tash on the night.

RESERVE CHAMPION was BRUCE ALMIGHTY, another big beautiful horse by HF SOMETHIN HOT owned by Joanne Gregory, trained and ridden by TIM FRENCH, what a run Tim. Congrats you guys.

Third was W. ONE HOT BLAZE. Owned by KIM WEARNE and trained and ridden by TRAVIS HUMPHRIES, by HF SOMETHIN HOT, half brother to our own magic mare W. HAVALILFAITH who was CHAMPION of this event two years back. THE REST OF THE FINALISTS, I will list on the results page under progeny with photos.

TRAVIS HUMPHRIES actually STOLE THE SHOW.

At the completion of the big event TRAVIS STAGED HIS OWN BIG EVENT.............. Down on one knee, whilst Natasha was still aboard W. CEEILIKEITHOT with her friends gathered around her, in shock as Travis proposed so beautifully to her. The crowd went wild. YEP, THE SCENE STEALER INDEED TRAVIS. A very big congratulations on your engagement to this beautiful, talented and delightful creature! Thank you for sharing this precious moment with the western horse fraternity. Mel on hand and we got the shot.!!! Papparazzi indeed, in fact a series of shots of the whole proposal, Tash with her hands over her eyes to the loving couple leaving the arena with their beautiful little daughter in Travis arms. How adorable and a super shot of Warren looking on, you really have to see these shots to appreciate how great Mel is at the MOMENT shots! Thank you Mel.

THE EXTREME QUARTER HORSE 3YO WESTERN PLEASURE FUTURITY was again a whitewash with HF SOMETHIN HOT progeny. The class consisted of 27 horses, two go rounds and the final. 9 HF SOMETHIN HOT progeny were entered and 8 made it into the final 10

The CHAMPION was last years winner of the 2yo WP Classic, returned again, to take out the 3yo. SUMPTH N NOBLE, by HF SOMETHIN HOT from a mare I sold to a dear friend Carolyn Regnis. Ridden beautifully by CJS TRAINING STABLES - KANE SKOPP. This lovely horse also took his owner CHERYL DUFF to victories in the amateur classes at NPHA.

RESERVE CHAMPION was the CJS TRAINING STABLES trained W.SAM I AM, by HF SOMETHIN HOT owned by the ever beautiful and talented rider teams of ANGI and BROOKE CHAPMAN, ridden by HOLLY JOHNSON. BROOKE had a great show with wins on this lovely gelding

Third in the class was the great two year old filly from last year W. LIL WHITE LIE by HF SOMETHIN HOT owned by EXTREME QUARTER HORSES - Emma and Darren Mullins.

4th was SOMETHIN UNIQUE by HF.SOMETHIN HOT owned by Lyndal Dauth and ridden by Natasha Backhouse.

THE JUNIOR HORSE WESTERN PLEASURE DERBY was won in fine fashion by CORONATION PARK BRED - NATASHA BACKHOUSE SHOWN - LIBERATIONS.

RESERVE CHAMPION was W. SOMETHINFANCEE another great mare from our beautiful W. GAY CEE BARS trained and shown by CJS TRAINING STABLES ridden by CAROLINE JOHNSON.

4th in this tough class was another HF SOMETHIN HOT LOPIN FOR GOLD owned trained and ridden by MARK FURGUSON. 6TH AND 7TH were also by HF SOMETHIN HOT.

AS A FOOTNOTE TO THIS; We have several HF SOMETHIN HOT EMBRYOS coming from LIBERATIONS wonderful producing mother .K. LIBERTY TRAIL and several frozen TRIBULATION embryos FULL SIBLINGS TO LIBERATIONS that will be implanted come spring, those of you Liberation fans will have the opportunity of owning your very own LIBERATIONS full sibling soon enough AND AT REASONABLE PRICES. It is with the deepest regret that we at Coronation Park announce to the western horse world the loss of our dearly loved Winderadeen Gay Cee Bars.

For those of you who noticed I was a little subdued at NPHA, will now realize why. We lost our beautiful Gay Cee on April 17, 2011.

We were in America when we were informed Gay Cee was ill and we flew straight into Sydney and rushed to Randwick Vet Hospital, one of the finest facilities on the eastern seaboard. Illawarra Vet Clinic transported Gay Cee to Randwick when they discovered her ill in their pasture and immediately alerted us. Gay Cee was with David and Jill at Illawarra , she was finished her E.T program and was waiting for us to arrive home to go collect her, HF Somethin Hot and her "friends" Liberty, Smokey and Faith. We would like to thank all concerned for their care taken with our beautiful girl, both clinics were devastated at the loss of Gay Cee.

Gay Cee was laid to rest during the AQHA National Show week.

We thank the Clinics and Pauline Stewart Fox for understanding that we wanted to keep Gay Cee's loss to ourselves until after the shows. It was out of respect to her, Pauline and Rodney Conolan as well as her many admirers, the people who loved her. It was our choice as we did not not want to upset people before or during your show campaigns. Thank you Rodney Conolan, you and Pauline were my rock at NPHA.

Now with the shows, and especially NPHA over, as we grieve Gay Cee's loss, we now allow you, Gay Cee's friends to do the same. R.I.P Gay Cee, you are a LEGEND within the AQHA and we miss you so.
