March 31st, 1981 Canberra.
After Australian Sprint racing ended, Vapour Trail, carried on an outstanding Halter career: 1980 AQHA National Champion 2yo colt (18), 1983 AQHA National Champion Stallion & Supreme Exhibit , 1983 Premier State Show NSW Champion & Grand Champion stallion. 1983 Royal Melbourne Show Champion Stallion. 1984 Southern Circuit Hi-Point Stallion. 1984 AQHA Nationals Champion Stallion.
